This plane was sitting on the property of the naval base where Ty and Shannon reserved the chapel for the wedding. Jim had to check it out, so I snapped his picture. (He usually doesn't like the picture thing, so I was glad he humored me...)

No one else around, so we had to do the self-portrait thing.
The cool freeway tunnel through the mountain, going into Honolulu.
We helped Ty and Shannon move a few things to their temporary abode, and then headed to downtown Honolulu for family lunchtime before saying our goodbyes. They took us to Bubba Gump Seafood Restaurant...
Hahaha, Tyler was really getting into the Forrest Gump mode.

And my special Strawberry Lemonade. I can't remember the extraordinary name for it, but it was served in a cup with a little strobe light flashing in the bottom of the cup. 
The happy couple...tired but happy.

We RAN down to the beach close to our cabin to grab these last pictures before leaving for the airport. sigh...we really needed to go sooner when Heidi said she would take a picture of us.
It was getting close to sunset, and we almost missed our opportunity.
I borrowed this one from Heidi...it was taken just right down the road from where we stayed. Beautiful beach!
And to pass the time in the Honolulu airport, what else is there to do, but stop @ Coldstone?
...and read the newspaper? Goodbye, Hawaii...wish we had had more time to spend with you!

Bek, the classic Anthony pic is so funny. And yes, dad IS eating mint...strangely, there didn't seem to be a lot of choices at the Coldstone in the Airport, so that is always a safe default flavor.
Laurie, the happy couple seems to be doing well. I haven't heard much out of them for a couple weeks, but Shannon texted me yesterday to say they've been going to the gym, and keeping busy.
We went to coldstone in the airport too. The blender exploded and filled the airport with smoke. And they wouldn't give me the flavor I wanted...said it could only be served by scoop and not milkshake lol...how retarded is that?
