Alaska Summer Treats

Every summer, we wait impatiently to see the Alaska Wild Roses bloom. You have to be quick, because they are not around for more than a couple weeks. Yesterday, I spotted the first one in our back 40, and knew it was time to get the camera. Last night, while on our walk, the bike path was strewn liberally with the pink beauties...oh the life they add to the stroll!
