This is our usual spring lake. Tyler says it's great...we can go fishing, swimming, boating. Silly boy.
Because of how we are the low spot on the block, Jim has built up the road in front of our house with many pickup loads of fill-dirt and gravel. Also, we installed a french drain a few years ago for the water to flow into once it is thawed.
Connie, be sure to turn on your sound, because of my wind chimes. :o) Tyler was giving a little speech while he made the video for me. (I tried, and apparently did something wrong...go figure!)
Hope you are having sunshiny days. We are...our snow is melting quickly, so by the weekend, is might be mostly gone, except on the North side of the house.

Yay for melting snow!!! =D
Yay for grandmother blogs. Sons are fairly easy to come by but you must wait a looong time to get those grandbabies.
THANK you, Amy. I told Ty not to be making smartie remarks... (eye roll) Obviously, it didn't work too well.
Oh, Kim, I loved the windchimes. Thanks for letting me take a listen. They were very pretty!!!
Now the lake----does it bring snakes, does it kill the grass forever? I'll just bet that is some COLD water.lol love you, connie
No snakes, Connie. :o) It doesn't kill the grass, but sometimes we have brown spots from the snow...if anyone walks on it, or make trails, etc, it can kill it. We have to work at it to keep it nice.
lol
The voice over was very insightful.
