Around the yard...

Since I don't seem to get all the pictures on my blog very easily, I will go in stages. I took some pictures of the flowers around the house on Saturday. It was rainy outside, so some of them are pretty wet and heavy.
This is my Martha Washington geranium that managed to come back from the dead. Several of our flowers got bitten earlier in the spring by a cold wind. We had to throw some away, but this one managed to survive. It is actually are very deep hue of red..my flash made it look bright. It is really a burgandy color.

We had a few Lulu Marigolds left over, so we put them in the garden...between the zucchini and the cucumbers. Can you tell the cukes didn't do so well?

Here is a Lulu up close. They are so cute.

And of course, the front porch...red geraniums and blue sapphire lobelia. Can you see the leaves in the yard? Yep, it is that time of year for us...fall has officially kicked in.

This little collage of flowers is one of my favorites. Different types of marigolds, lobelia, and pansies.

I will post more yard art and fun stuff later. Our schedule is pretty early now that Jim went back to school. Hope your day is as bright and cheery as my Lulu flowers. :)
