Getting Ready for Spring...
Good morning, all my dear family and friends. It is April, a WELCOME time of year for Interior Alaska. Anyone who has been here knows these things are a good sign: the snow is dirty and rotten, the snow berms have been pushed off the sides of the roads, the sun is bright and right in our eyes and we have 14 1/2 hours of daylight, and the pussy willows are blooming...heavy coats are absent, people try to wear short sleeves and usually regret it (ahahaha), and there seems to be an overall "happy feeling" among people in general. Projects get started, seeds get started, exercise plans are in full gear, crazy pregnant daughters go out to run on the icy bike paths, etc. It is a fantastic time of year, even though this morning is gloomy and a bit colder for one day. ONE DAY...WE CAN HANDLE ONE DAY! YEA!!!! I have decided to post a few pictures of the Spring Tree Trimming Crew that stopped by my home this weekend.

Great Moose pictures!!!
I know a song about pussy willows. Would you like me to sing it to you?
